Pomegranate harvest
SERVES: PREP: COOK: PRINT CONVERSIONS
Pomegranates are so beautiful and delicious. They provide such amazing vibrancy and flavour to middle eastern dishes, in particular. Unfortunately, however, they do have a relatively short season in the southern hemisphere (March – May). I’ve almost left my run too late this year, but I’ve seeded as many as I can & frozen the seeds so that I can enjoy them all year round. They freeze well and there is no need to defrost as they come to room temperature very quickly.
For those of you that love pomegranates, I suggest you get to the market now and start harvesting!
